Fate leads us to destiny...
I am fun loving, open, magnanimous and have a good sense of humor. I see myself as a ‘peoples person’ as I enjoy socializing and networking. I do take risks however, I take calculated risks. I do not believe in going through life without understanding it. I enjoy challenges as I view them as opportunities, adventure, travelling and the finer things in life. I am a positive, responsible, highly ambitious, self-confident and self motivated, independent, and strong woman.
I continuously aim to achieve the goals I have set in life by improving myself professionally and continuously educating myself. I was born in Durban Kwa-Zulu Natal in 1981, (maiden name) Nemisha Maharaj entered the entertainment industry in 1998 as an actress, dancer, singer and lyricist. After working on a few low budget movies I joined a theatrical production company in 1999 and went on tour for two years after which I left the industry and decided to study. After 7 years of post matric studies I gained qualifications in law and commerce and was employed at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal Law Faculty as an Accounting and Finance Officer. In 2008 I entered the Miss India South Africa KZN and was one of the top 6 finalists to go to the Miss India South Africa. I had also won the Miss Personality Award. After the Miss India South Africa I received numerous modelling assignments. In 2009 I met Morné Kraamwinkel and we were married on 14 November 2009. Aside from my professional and personal life my passion for cooking led to me to writing and publishing her cook book called MoNe Fusion Foods in 2010 and the fiction meets non-fiction book 'Till death do us part' in 2011. On 5 May 2011 our beautiful baby daughter Mishka Moné was born. After my baby's 3 week stay in ICU due to not breathing after birth, I took a break from the industry to be a full-time mum to my baby Mishka Moné. In 2012 I started working my way back into the industry as an Actress in aid of NGO and NPO organizations in need, Head of Marketing at City Life and Student Central, and KZN Regional Portfolio Manager at Mafadi Property Management, onset Accountant Assistant for Judy Naidoo’s feature film “Kings of Mulberry Street”.
