De-Graft studied filmaking in kenya at the Shang Tao Media Art Collegea after completing his Senior Secondary School (now Senior Highc Shool) at Presec-Osino in 2004 in Ghana. De-Graft produced his first tv series Fall Out in 2013, Fall out was well received by big industry players in terms of quality and its content, but due to bad offers from some television stations he couldnt continue the production and so he decided to focus on studio works. De-Graft was called to support Club project titled club live as an a editor which has been aired on television for more than a year now. In 2016, De-Graft collaborated with a movie producer based in UK called Frederick Amoakohene to shoot a movie titled "A New Sun" that addresses early child marriage and female genital mutilation
