Negotiating the experience of being a woman, being black on a black continent and making art about recovering and imagining all the ways I and my community(ies) have come to be and will continue to be.
Oddity: because being an artist is the only thing I want and know to do, but it's also the battle ground of a lot of doubt and dreams.
