"ACTING IS A SPIRITUAL QUEST TO TOUCH HUMAN BEINGS" |Larry Moss| My late grandfather gave me the name Jabulani, which means rejoice in English and I highly believe that my name is a calling, I was brought in to this world to bring joy into people’s lives. I am an aspiring actor/filmmaker and I believe I still have miles to go as a young African actor/filmmaker. I want to use my craft to heal, entertain, educate, inspire and put Africa on the world stage of showbiz. I’m a film graduate and a trained actor. I’m very hands on in every department of movie making because I know that every aspect of filmmaking plays a very crucial role in a story. Film and Television is a collaborative field, that’s why I love to get involved in every phase of production from pre to post. I’m aware that our film industry is very struggling, I don’t even consider it as an industry because there’s nothing really going on and it breaks my heart, I want to be part of the movement that builds our film industry and break the chains of mediocrity. The television industry is doing good and that’s where we all eat, but we’re flooded now there are no jobs so we must create this films. I’m so in love with the showbiz and I know my contribution and burning desire of motion pictures will improve and nourish our industry. I’m far from perfect, I sharpen my skills at any given chance and I’m growing each and every day. I need a platform to showcase my talents, grow and establish a name for myself. I proud myself to be a hard worker on set, I feel very alive whenever I’m on a set cooking. I achieved so much knowledge through a youtube channel that I started with my two colleagues while getting our diplomas, the pressure was too high because we had to focus on both the channel and school workload. All that trained me to maneuver towards anything that is thrown at me. The channel played a huge part in sharpening both my filmmaking and acting skills, it taught me gorilla filmmaking and mostly to think on the spot and apply my creative. I have a great work ethic and I have good energy so every production team will be lucky to have me.
