Wanjiru Kairu is a Kenyan storyteller with over fifteen years’ experience working across various platforms telling fun, sweet, action-rich stories.
Her short films have successfully toured the festival circuit screening at Encounters Short Film Festival Bristol, Pan African Film Festival, Durban International Film Festival, the New York African Film Festival among numerous others.
She has also directed and written animation shorts, web series, TV and radio shows for local and pan African cable stations
In addition to creating content, Wanjiru is an enthusiastic trainer working with young filmmakers throughout east Africa.
