bio

I am a young person that has obtained a BA degree in Strategic Corporate Communication and graduated in April this year through the University of Johannesburg (UJ). I pay attention to detail and go the extra mile to fulfil the desired results for every task. I am motivated and always eager to learn. I believe in teamwork as each individual can learn from others. This, I learned in my final year of study when I was a member of the Belle vie Communications team (within the UJ Strategic Communications department) which ran a campaign called Eeufees Living in the Future which focused on the elderly promoting healthy living and maintaining a positive outlook on life, amongst many aspects of life. This campaign won Silver at the PRISM Awards 2019 for the Student Campaign category, which was coordinated through excellent teamwork in 2018. Furthermore, I was involved in the social media campaign called #memezamzanzi aimed at educating and creating awareness on human trafficking. Established by the International Organisation for Migration in 2017, this campaign earned recognition from the American State Department for the work done in alleviating the scourge of human trafficking in South Africa and worldwide. It also received an accolade at the PRISM Awards in 2016. I have also created content for a production company called Mathadu Productions for a Freedom Day campaign called #What’sYourFreedom? which was aimed at empowering the South African youth and to help share the different meanings of freedom in the 21st century.
