Pleasant Theodore Banda is a Malawian actor/script writer whose acting journey started in 2009 at secondary school though he had always had passion for acting at a tender age. after completion of secondary school he decided to take acting as a career and through this journey he has worked with several theatres e.g Don Bosco Arts Theatre,Chosen Ones Theatre and Rise Arts . As a writer he has written so many play/film scripts like Doom from the past,Power Of Love,From Jail to Wonderland,After the War,Chronicles of Satha and Final Remedy just to mention a few. He has featured and directed a great number of stage productions namely Turtles Tears,Lost But Found,Unminded errors, After the war,Power of Love, Operation Mandala 1915,Chronicles Of Satha,From Jail to wonderland and starred in films like Final remedy in which he was also the writer and Tales in hot tide.In his adventure Pleasant has performed in international theatre festivals and some of them are Nasfest which takes place in Malawi and Southern African Festival (SAFE) for children and young people in Harare Zimbabwe. His greatest motive is to see Malawi's film industry penetrating the international market .
