WARDROBE SUPERVISOR

• Oversee all aspects of the costume department onboard, including, but not limited to: maintenance of all Cruise Programs costumes, wigs, shoes, props, backstage dressing, laundry, bible creation and communication to managers and shore side.

• Effectively problem solve while experiencing the ever changing scope of the unique environment of the entertainment cruise line industry.

• Thrive in a “repertory” environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fit, alter, sew and wash theatrical costumes to the specifics requested by management, in a timely fashion.

• Laundry: washing, ironing, steaming, pressing, categorizing laundry by show.

• Pattern making, draping and cutting, dying.

• Dress shows and creating backstage tracks for the bible.

• Pack and ship off road boxes with an inventory list.

• Shoe maintenance, painting, dying and stocking.

• Wig maintenance, millinery repair, crafts building and repair.

• Organize and clean all dressing areas, stock areas, costume racks and road boxes.

• Communicate weekly with shore side management.

• Any other duty deemed necessary by management pertaining to the costume department

• Helping to make pieces and put costumes together

• Keeping an accurate record of all items needed

• Storing costumes and returning hired items (known as 'breaking down' costumes).
