As a champion who always aspired to follow a career path in media-production, I endorsed myself with freelance projects that has helped me built an outstanding reference for myself, but one of my biggest achievement was to cohort on an inspirational project mentored by; Steven Roy Goodman- MS, JD, Educational Consultant and Host of Higher Education Today, where I helped co-produce an international segment (Religion and Spirituality on Campus), which won a Dateline Award!

experience

I was one of the team members at UCT TV/Stepping Stone Video Training who helped produce four television segments last August 2017. I had a variety of roles during the tapings, but my most valuable contributions were not reflected in the credits at the end of each segment.

UCT-TV  were about to tape a segment about religion on campus with leaders from the Muslim, Jewish, and Catholic communities.Myself and colleagues politely explained the role of spirituality in South Africa and the connection that many Africans feel to their ancestors. It became obvious to UCT that such a perspective should be included in the on-air discussion. In less than 48 hours, my team solicited and secured a guest who turned out to be the most interesting and informative guest of the segment. In a very short period of time, I also helped to prepare for the now-expanded segment.
I believe I was the floor manager for the religion and spirituality segment, but my title should have been "hard-working guy who gets things done" manager.I directly contributed to the success of HIGHER EDUCATION TODAY-Religion and Spirituality on Campus - and I am sure I will put in the same 110 percent effort for your work that I did for UCT-TV shows.
