Luyanda Biggz Kabanyane was born on April 1, 1994 in Toronto, Canada as Luyanda Sidima Kabanyane. He currently lives in Cape Town, South Africa with his parents and two siblings. He is the son of Royal Zulu princess/author Gcwalisile Cynthia Zulu-Kabanyane, author/former freedom fighter Dr. Sidima Terrence Kabanyane and grandson of Prince Layukona Gideon Zulu (1934-2006) a member of Zulu Royal family from the linage of King Shaka. He is Zulu (mother) and Xhosa (father). Luyanda fell in love with the arts at an early age, and began his acting career performing on stage at his High school , at the age of 15. Luyanda studied acting at CityVarsity in Cape Town, where he met his best friend, fellow actor Douglas Swinerd. He has six siblings, and his cousin is voice actor/musician Toya Delazy. Luyanda can perform in any genre but prefers comedy and drama, he can use a generic American accent and a Southern one.
