Thokozani Majaha Shongwe who is better know as Shame-D to his fans, was born in a place called Amsterdam around Mpumalanga. The talented Movie writer, Director and actor was raised by a single parent after his Father disappeared. Thokozani never has it easy in life since his mother was also involve in car accident around 1993. Poor as they ware, Thokozani never let that situation stop him in following his dreams as they started writing songs with his older brother Medy.
2006 they recoded their first album called Gcuma which they were pushing and selling and selling in the taxi ranks performing there selling their cassettes. Both of them they were schooling by that time so they never had enough time to push their music since they also had enough money to travel the place to market. They were performing in school and local event for free, people loved them but with no money that was not love was not enough, so they had to put music in hold and focus in school before they mess all up. Thokozani discovered his new talent in acting and comedy after he made thewhole school laugh with his jokes during a school bash.
Thokozani had a chance to show case his talent in comedy. After that he never looked back, even though he never looked beck, even though he was still in school he had to make time for his new activity since his fans keeps asking for more every time they see him. That time he was doing grade 10 in Vukuqhakaze Secondary School in Leandra, Mpumalanga. Shame-D joined a comedy group called Ezisnaks in 2009, the group consisted of 5 boys. They were the best in comedy, the best in comedy, the best in the city, Shame-D being one of their best actors he left to start his own since people wanted more and the group was to get slower in public appearance. He the formed a group with two boys who showed interest in these acting things even though they had never done it before that Shame-D had to teach those two boys Sunnyboy Zandamela who was 14 years old that time and Petro Nzimankulu who was 16 years. The boys suddenly turned to be the best in the comedy game since they were gaining experience while performing in school, churches and Streets. They released their first DVD called Umhlolo we Shirt which sold 500 copies with hands.
Thokozani completed school in 2008, he went to KwaZulu Natal for job hunting. With the money he got from piece job he was having he managed to buy his first camera and a laptop with the aim of having his own company. His joy never lasted for so long since the Brock in his house shot him, took his camera, laptop and cellphones. He then decided to go to change the place and go to Ermelo to get same job to buy another film equipment. After that Shame D go back to Mpumalanga that he starts the group of acting and called it Shame D Entertainment, he shot a movie called Inkinga Kamfundisi which they never sold because of the poor quality of the camera they used. He got another job he worked there until he gat enough money to buy other cameras and all the other equipment. They shot another movie called Umhlaba Imali Ilethithuna in 2018, that time he had whole lot of new cast, fresh and hungry for work. They sold the DVD, s on the street and goingin house to house with the with the money they got he bought another equipment including a printer, camera stand and computer to make things easier. Today Thokozani still pushing and working with Nompumelelo Gininda as the Manager of the company. Thokozani still continue writing all different type of movies. In that movies same of it they not harmful for children, and also the children movie who based in education.
