Mauro Pereira was born in 1986 in Luanda, Angola. When he was four years old he moved to Portugal, where he grew up and began his carrier as a filmmmaker.
In 2014 Mauro returned to Angola. Since then he has been working as a freelancer film director, in the field of advertising, institutional and documentary.
"TRACKS" is the latest documentary film written and directed by Mauro Pereira, was the winner of the first edition of the short competitions PALOP / TL-UE 2017.
From 2017 to the present, the documentary was shown in special oysters and competitions at several international film festivals: Cape Verde, Brazil, Brussels, Portugal, Sao Tome, Macao, Tunisia, New York, etc..
