Africa Day reflections with the MTF Class of 2018: Q&A with Ugandan scriptwriter, producer and MTF Academy alumnus Cissy Nalumansi
It’s been well over a year since the first group of MultiChoice Talent Factory Academy candidates joined the programme! Among them is Ugandan filmmaker Cissy Nalumansi, one of the 20 East African young creatives selected to attend the inaugural year of the programme at the academy hub in Nairobi in 2018. MTF caught up with her to find out what she’s been up to since completing the programme.
The 20/20 Series is a pop-up event that takes us into the homes, hubs and workspaces of an array of dynamic creative visionaries to allow for relaxed, engaging conversations on craft, creation and artistic vision.
This series is created by Liz Hinlein and presented by the New York Film Academy. Each conversation with a creative visionary features 20 minutes of discussion with a moderator and a 20-minute Q&A from YOU, the audience.
In commemoration of Africa Day, the MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF) commissioned MTF West Africa Alumni, Moses Akerele to write a poem for MTF’s Africa Month campaign under the DStv theme #TheAfricaWeSee.
