Marie Rosholt has been at the heart of the South African TV industry for well over 40 years, from its beginnings in 1976, until her retirement 4 years ago.

In that time, this globally recognised and multi-awarded professional worked her way from an unpaid make-up assistant, through the entire cycle of the production, to a senior board position at the SA subsidiary of Dutch giant, Endemol.

Her career has seen her transition through the national broadcaster in documentaries, actuality programming, in entertainment, into her own production company, to being a global pioneer in reality television, where she executive produced 12 series of the international hit show Big Brother, Survivor, Deal or no Deal, Fear Factor and others including a variety of self-designed local formats.

Her unrivalled knowledge of the intricate and intimate workings of the TV and film production, is supported by her university qualifications as a teacher, enabling her to communicate and transmit her expertise to her students.
