26-year-old Nigerian film buff Igho Arusi is an audio operator whose sighs are firmly set on becoming a filmmaker. Born in Lagos, Arusi is also a computer science graduate. As part of the MultiChoice Talent Factory Academy’s Class of 2019, Arusi is eager to immerse himself in the programme and use what he has learnt to create more engaging and educative films and TV shows alongside other emerging filmmakers.

Olaiya Oluwaseyi Modupeola is a 22-year-old Nigerian writer on a mission to fulfil his dreams of becoming a screenwriter and producer. For the Ogun-born creative, the best thing about Africa is its rich cultural heritage and diversity. “The continent is blessed with super talented youths who are goal getters and passion driven. The fact that the continent also offers breath-taking tourist attractions makes it unique,” says Modupeola, who holds a BSc in Mass communication from Lagos State University in Nigeria.
